Birds are an important indicator of the health of any ecosystem and play a critical role in keeping the ecosystem healthy. It is, therefore, important that we protect them against habitat loss and the resultant lack of food. 

 

That said, many of us do not know much about birds. This site is my attempt to increase awareness about the birds, the challenges & threats they face. It is my sincere hope that this will help spread better understanding about the birds leading to each one of us doing his/her bit to protect them. It is my belief that we will protect what we understand.
